Wesenstest:  Der 15 Monate alte Tollerrüde zeigt sein Temperament, Bewegungsverhalten und Spieltrieb hauptsächlich beim Apportieren. Er ist ausdauernd und sehr aufmerksam. Beuteverhalten, Zutragen, Tragen & Spürverhalten zeigt er alles ausgeprägt. Die Unterordnungsbereitschaft ist groß, die Bindung an seine Führerin eng + vertrauensvoll. Er ist sicher beim Menschen auch in den einengenden Situationen. Zeigt sich aber tollertypisch wenig an ihnen interessiert. Im Parcours zeigt er durchgängig leichtes Mißtrauen den Reizen gegenüber, vertraut aber seiner Führerin und nimmt sie dann an. Er ist schußfest. Ein sehr typischer Toller mit sehr enger Bindung, der aber trotzdem sehr selbstständig agiert, wenn es die Situation erlaubt oder verlangt. (13.06.2009; Richterin: Frau S. Lamm)

English version: 

I am so pleased with Joker´s character, workingability and exterior so finally I decided to get a second Toller from Mia´s  Kennel. I met Kaja and Bomber when I picked Joker up and at the speciality in 2007, although I didn´t know at this time that I would get one of their pups I liked them both very much! So when I heard that there was a male pup left I got more interested in it and finally I decided to take one of them. 

Well, but now I´ve got the same problem that I just had when I tried to describe Joker´s character...I guess you´ve to see him to get an impression of how he acts and behaves, but nevertheless I´ll try to describe his characteristics as good as I can.

Sadiki is 16 months now and turned into a really nice young male. He has strong bones, a really nice compact body with 4 white paws, a half white marked chest, thick coat and an expression which tells you that he is always ready to retrieve some dummies, balls, bottles etc.  Compared to Joker who also enjoys taking some walks  through the forests, Sadiki always (!) prefers working to walking. He is the kind of toller which could work all day long. He really needs to get something to do in order to be happy and to enjoy life! So he makes an adorable working companion  who he is really concentrated and has a strong desire to retrieve! He loves working together with me, but nevertheless he shows a nice and efficient hi lost (free search). At the age of 14 months he took part in his first dummy test and passed with 68 points (very good) at first attempt! I am really optimistic about our coming tests, because Sadiki is always eager to learn new things... at the moment we´re training  directions and Sadiki gets a kid out of it, so I am more than pleased with his working abilities. Furthermore he is a great companion dog who enjoys being around me in addition to this his great temperament makes him a brilliant show dog...he loves - just like Joker does- being the focus of attention, so he usually enters the ring with a "smile on his face" and the expression as if he wanted to say "Hey guys, look at me, I´m the  world´s greatest!" I think this attitude makes him so charming and loveable and is one reason why he got his "Youth-Champion" at the age of 10 (!) months after just 2 weekends (!) of showing! Besides he was placed as BEST IN GROUP 3 at in International All-breeds show in Germany at the age of 23 months - I think he is the first German toller stud dog who has ever been placed as BIG 3! :D

Because of all these great characteristics, his nice exterior and his good health results I thought he could have a good influence on the toller breed and therefore he is an oficially approved (Deutscher Retriever Club e.V , VDH, FCI)  stud dog now!

As well as I just said on Joker´s site I´m more than grateful that Mia gave this little happy dog to me and I´m looking forward to all of the coming years that Joker, Sadiki and me will spend together! :)

Auf Grund der Tatsache, dass ich mit Joker´s Charakter, Arbeitsanlagen und Aussehen mehr als zufrieden bin, entschied ich mich für einen zweiten Toller aus dem Kennel "Seawild". Meine Wahl viel auf Sadiki, da er sowohl von den Arbeitsanlagen als auch vom Erscheinungsbild her sehr vielversprechend erschien.... und ich bereuhe meine Entscheidung auch in keiner Weise. ;)

Er ist nun 14 Monate alt und zu einem schönen Tollerrüden herangewachsen. Er hat kräftige Knochen und einen kompakten Körper mit vier weißen Pfoten, einer halb weiß markierten Brust und ein schönes dichtes Fell. Schon sein Ausdruck lässt erkennen, dass er am liebsten den ganzen Tag apportieren würde. Bereits im jungen Alter von 14 Monaten bestand er die APD A (Dummyprüfung) mit 68 P. und einem "Sehr Gut". Momentan trainiere ich ihn für Workingtests und  auch die APD F wollen wir uns für die  Zukunft als Ziel setzen. Ich denke, dass wir das schaffen werden, denn  bisher zeigt er sich im Training mehr als vielversprechend! Er ist sehr schön steady..."Einspringen" ist für uns eigentlich fast gar kein Thema. Auch das Einweisen macht uns schon sehr viel Spaß. Ich bin mehr als gespannt auf all die kommenden Prüfungen und Trainingstage!

Zudem wurde er im Dezember 2009 - im Alter von nur 23 Monaten - BEST IN GROUP 3 auf einer Internationalen Ausstellung in Kassel! Für mich kommt er einem "Dual purpose" Toller sehr nahe und ich hoffe, dass er auf die Tollerzucht in Zukunft einen positiven Einfluss nehmen kann.
