Specialty´07 - Joker & Sadiki

Tollerspecialty 2007

On Wednesday afternoon it was time to drive to Duesseldorf! When we arrived at the airport we went to a speacial "service" to pick up Joker´s "flight-crate". Although we had some troubles getting this crate first, we finally got "crate 2" and so Joker was ready for the flight. I was very very nervous, because it was the first time that Joker had to fly in the cargo hold. It was a strange feeling to leave him at the "Check-In", since he was screaming and screaming, besides I had heard lots of terrible things which have happend to dogs that went by plain.....but fortunately everything went well. When we arrived at Gothenburg I immediately went to the arrival where we first picked up our bag and then I was looking for Joker when I suddenly noticed his screaming in one corner of the hall. I followed the scream and soon I found Joker. I took him with me to the costumers where I had to show his vaccination papers etc. Everything was okay and so we could leave the airport and together with Mattias (from Kennel Seawild) and Jakob ( a friend of Frida with Max and Juli) we drove to Tanga Hed´s campingsite where we met Mia (Kennel Seawild), Margaret & Michael (owner of Fire), Gunliz & Lasse (owner of Gabriel, Zimba and Zeb) and Frida (owner of Max and Juli).

Together we spent lots of wonderful days ( & barbecues ;) ) and we´re looking forward to the Tollerspecialty 2008 in Stockholm!!!

On Thursday Joker, Fire and Trea took part in a huntingdescription. This is just a "test" to see which abilities the dog has e.g. what he´ll do with the dummy if he gets no command etc. So all in all it´s not a test that the dog can file, it´s just a test to see what the dog behaves like if he isn´t under control. On Friday Joker took part in the Workingtest. He was the youngest dog who took part in it and passed the whole test without any 0!!! He even got 20 points at one station...... All in all we got 56/100 points, so click here if you would like to read more! Once again, I´m proud of my little Joker! :D

On saturday we had nothing to do....just relaxing and watching some other dogs at the hunt test. It was great to see so many tollers doing what they were bred to do and I was very impressed by many tollers who worked leisurely.

On Saturday Joker took part in the show and got 2nd best male in juniorclass with honory price!!! Wow!! :D

All in all this weekend was very succesfull for Joker and the whole Kennel Seawild in general, because Joker´s brother Fire (Seawild´s Taste Of Trouble) got a 2nd price in obedience on Friday and became 5th best male in juniorclass with honory price, once again congratulations Fire!!!

On Sunday afternoon we flew back to Germany. The whole flight went well, this time Joker was even sleeping when he arrived at Duesseldorf airport, so it seems as if he get used to the flight.... ;-)
